Our History
Built in North Carolina Since 2013
Slingin Shanks began with a simple challenge between friends.
A close friend needed a pair of 3-inch bull riding spurs—a measurement that was uncommon and difficult to find at the time. With welding experience and a willingness to try, we built the first pair.
That pair led to another order. Then another.
What began as a favor became a company built around solving problems, challenging accepted methods, and giving riders more control over the equipment beneath their feet.
Thousands of pairs later, the mission remains the same: Build something worthy of the person trusting us to make it.
We Honor the Past by Building the Future.
We respect the skills, values, and traditions that built the western industry.
We also believe those values were never meant to prevent progress.
They were meant to guide it.
